My good friend Kenny has been bustin his a$$ to get Gone Again back on the water - after a couple of years of glass work, engines, rigging, wet sump to dry, etc..... the list goes on and on and on and on..... She's wet and currently getting dialed in. Here's a few pics from the past weekend while he was workin on the fuel mapping..... Enjoy!

The F16 canopies are sure different from when they left Skater and could you give us some pics of the latch system holding the canopies down and are the roll bars still in place ? I have to say that i am also getting ready to show some pics of the old Don Q rum a 32 Skater that has had quite a face lift from Race to pleasure and thanks for sharing .:)

Talon??? Ya mean Skater - right? I presume is is talking about the old Jelly Belly Gone Again which was a # 37-Talon that Rik Bowling owned after his 32 Skater Gone Again in which we had countless man hours doing all the structural repair and salvage of Jelly Belly Gone Again which was Rik's next boat after his 32 Skater.:sifone:

Before she was Gone Again this 32' Skater ran in the OPT open class as PHOTO FINISH. We were having our 32' Skater [ EASTERN EXPRESS] being built at the same time by Pete. If I remember right OPT let 32' cats run in open class from 1990 to 1991 like the 32' Don Q did the year before.

He's hoping to make the shoot out - but no promises. There's still a lot of fuel mapping to do before he goes for the big number - and after a couple of years getting this far .... who's in a hurry??

And the motors are set up for 93 octane - no bchit.
