I don't think the issue is so much global warming as it is a need to change our lifestyle to a more sustainable form.

I love boating just as much as everybody else on this website, and I personally am not willing to give it up. What I am willing to do is take part in recycling programs, energy efficient technology, and water management programs.

Totally agree that REAL programs that actually help the environment are more than necessary. But a Cap and Trade scam to siphon money from the American people and enrich Algore, his pals, and the US government is bullsht
. And it has NEVER been proven that any climate change is man made, in fact all the actual data shows that virtually all the computer models are WRONG.

Cat...you seem like a smart man (albiet one with a "different" perspective)...I can't believe you buy into that b.s. Try reading "The Chilling Stars," then come talk to me.

And boys and girls...it's "climate change" now that the average temp has actually COOLED over the past decade...global warming is pasee.

BTW...Perl...your chiquita ran 18 miles...a marathon is 26.2.

Cat, how can you and the Al Gore groupies actually believe that man has a bigger effect on the climate than our Sun? It's total insanity.

The climate of the earth is changing. It has been changing for millions of years BEFORE man every arrived. It will continue the change long after we are extinct.

Also, climate change is very very gradual. If you compare daily weather changes and try to link these daily changes to climate change, then you have totally lost your mind! :(

If the globe did not warm some, we would still be in an ice age correct?

We got 7" of snow on Saturday and 24 hours later it was 60 and 90% of the snow had melted.
