SCOPE Springfling 2009
To all members and friends,

It's that time of year for the first official SCOPE boating event !!!!!!!

Date: April 3-5 2009

Place: Catalina Island

Hotel: Pavilion Lodge (strategically located next to Luau Larrys ) $227.00 per night

Boat over on Friday to spend a great weekend with your family and friends

Saturday there will be private party BBQ at Descanso Beach Club with cash bar from 5:00PM to 8:00PM, after that you never know what will happen

Hope to see everyone there!

One of these times We're flying out and bumming a ride for one of these. Haven't spent time in CA for 20 years. Miss it.

Ratickle....The SCOPE guys are always willing to offer up rides when a fellow boater is in town. You feel like you're in another country when you're in Catalina. Good times!

Actually practiced to run the ski race while I was growing up in Portland. Used to speed ski around Sauvie Island, about 40 miles, but blew out my ankle and then never got the chance again.

Never stayed on Cat but was there a long time ago. My Dad was born in LA and moved and grew up in Bakersfield so I have a lot of relatives in Cal.

besides the front mooring line there is a line on the back going down to the bottom.

hey tank, who owns the F2 cig in the third pic? I just saw it in an old hot boat for a havasu poker run from 2002.

I'm pretty sure its still at LOTO as well. Jawbreakerkid/Chad owned it for a couple years and sold it to somebody else at LOTO. Haven't seen it out on the water since Chad owned it and that was about 4 years ago.
