What are you paying for propane gas? For the past several months I have been paying $3/gallon. Another company just started advertising $1.89delivered,no catch.Called my long time supplier,he had no explanation. I think I have been ripped off for years. All the gas companies near me are owned by the same parent company, guess they thought they could get away with it. I hate to think of all the money I paid extra over time.Bummer.

Propane companies are notorious for offering rediculously low first year rates and other teasers to new customers, only to raise the prices after the first year or so. When I first bought my house there was a tank alreay sitting here. The company wanted me to pay a lease on the tank that was already in place. I told them to pound sand and come get the tank. If you switch suppliers make sure whoever you go with doesnt charge a tank lease.
