Sometimes getting the permits for a first time event can be a challenge and frustrating. Today we got the final word from the Core of Engineers that we are approved to race on Lake Cumberland May 15 -17.

Folks, get prepared to have some fun.. This place rocks!!!!

Can't wait!! It's gonna be a great event! I'm sure most of the marinas will have houseboats available to rent for the weekend. That will be your best bet for a "hotel". It will be more fun too!

This is gonna be big! I'm glad it worked out Ron. I heard negativity about having a race there but most of the negatives came from people who thought the race would occupy the whole lake. I set them straight. Eric

probably Lexington Ky. for the big birds, I'm sure there are several little airports in the area.

First time meetings with RG3 usually run around $100.00, but sense your a bud I'll knock it down to $99.75. :sifone:

Lexington is still a good drive from LC. Pretty nice g.a. airport in Somerset, ma & pa place in Jamestown.
Lexington is probably a quicker drive than Louisille or Nahsville though.

You can be to State Dock in less than 2hrs from the Lexington Airport.
