Bill that thing accelerates so fast the GPS skips numbers at the slower speeds.

Nice, would love to see an outside vid of the same run. Acceleration is incredible. Even at the top you were picking up quick. I'm guessing that's not top end yet.:)

Cool how you can see the reflection of the rooster tail in the gauge face, also note the plane flying through at the 1605 MPH mark........

I haven't been faster than 155 mph in a car never mind a boat!
In a boat I saw 110 in a Nortech and 100 in a Sunsation F4.

The numbers were still clicking by pretty good at 180. Usually see the top end come in a much longer run so there must be 600-700 rpms left?

rumor has it they were the Teague 1200s featured in the powerboat test Thats the reason we videoed the GPS because that boat in powerboat should be much much faster..it was an embarasment...somthing is way off...i would say the 1200 rating is a little stretched..but the did have it geared and propped for acceleration

it was an embarasment... to say the least ,maybe the test boat was still strapped to the trailer :leaving: Peter was a wee bit disappointed with the article but im sure he's a happy camper with these #s ...
