Actually, my wife owns a pet store and she supports the county police dog with its food. The trainer has that dog trained so well.....she was explaining how well the dog obeys commands. When the dog and the officers assess the situation, the officer commands the dog to stand down with a coded command. The dog immediately sits in the position it is standing at. It's amazing to watch one of these animals in action. They are lightning fast and very dedicated to their owner/trainer/partners. When they die, they are given full police force honors.
