Dux boats up here makes them. We've got a 14' with a 60hp on it, and a 10' with a 25. They corner like you wouldn't believe. Good Times!

Hell ya they are! Running these things in the surf is awesome. You absolutley need a passenger to keep you level or they'll blow over in a heartbeat! :biggrinjester:

I was up in Spring Lake a couple of years ago in the Empress and there was one with about a 65? on it. Up to 70 it hung right there. Went across a cruiser wake and they caught some serious air.

My neighbor at my old warehouse races those things. He said they run in the 80's in his class but little guys need not apply (Stecz is out).......They do blowover very easily and beat the occupants to death

They have been around a while. I first saw them in Biloxi in '98.

They race them with two people. The second guy is the movable ballast. Yes they must be a blast in the surf.
