going through some stuff and thought i would post some pictures from our event

We miss not putting on this event but the landscape has changed

The smiles on the faces of the Make a Wish kids when going for there boat rides are what i miss the most

I remember Smoke Marc! Did the 1st 3 years! Good X's The last was "SMOKE IN THE FOG"!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't U CHIT your pants in the helo?????????????:26:

I have a pic somewhere with us standing around on the beach (Pilot,camera guys and myself) in the fog with the helo

The pilot yelled "enough of this" and set it down next to the water on the beach

That was a scarry year we even ened up with one of our pace boats on the beach

I made a funny Magazine cover using the picture we had of the beached boat (See attached)

Guy in the front row with Black shirt and blue jeans is Kevin Sellers (passed away at cumberland Poker run this past year) Keven Loved SOTW and was very involved in taking Make A Wish Kids for rides

I remember that year well, you sent me to Whitehall in that fog (as the card boat) and we never made it back until the party was over. that was a long ride by gps and my radar started working after we got back into Grand Haven. Man was that a fun year:leaving:

You card boat guys were our heros that day :)

Have you ever thought about a boat rendevos/charity get together to just give rides to Make-a-wish kids with lunch and or dinner with out a destination or poker run. I would love to load up the Cary and give rides. Maybe an auction for the cause. A boat show? Just a thought!!!!!

That's what they do in jersey. Make the whole day about the kids. I really miss that event in the past year. Love taking the kids out with their familys. Awsome feeling.

Remember that farever. Had to send my wife back in a car with the cards for the stop. Took forever to get ahold of Marc in the copter to make sure he didn't send the boats north.

One thing those kids do have, is great memories...

They never forget a thing....

Marc,

There is one thing I wished I never passed up on and that was to go to the top of the World Trades Center. I always felt I could have done it another time.

The second is I wish I was able to attend a Smoke on the Water event.... :(
