Has anyone made a blackhawk a single prop? Would it be possible?

Take off a prop.

But why would you want to?

apparently there was a kit that converted them to a single #6 style prop but I have never seen one. Not really sure why you would want to do it?

Better choice of props is all I can think of....

Hey, I didn't say it would work well...

but they work just fine with two props so why make them less efficient?

It is MSA, We have the line, but have never sold one to date. They werent priced too badly, but they were more than a B1. Also some units req a transmission if I remember correctly. The shipping (importing) of these also would eat up some coin.. :) Jamie / Lakeside

There is a shop in Brick NJ that has converted a couple Blackhawks to single prop with "big shafts" as I recall. My understanding was better choice of props and that they were stronger with a single shaft instead of the two pieces needed for counter-rotation. I believe it also made them useful for more applications.
