This boat is rigged with 850s and is offered at $500,000 minimum reserve. The boat with 700s retails for $760,000 so this one could be a basement bargain;

This doesn't surprize me at all,knowing who builds them. There is alot of very bad histroy with Randy. Anyone remember Profile? It makes me smile when I see he has to try doing this. Why would anyone spend that kinda loot on a cat builtby someone with his track record when you can get the real thing from Skater / MTI /ect--ect with alot of positive histroy.

Cat, $500,000 is just an opening bid. No idea what the actual reserve is.

half a mil worth of very ugly green boat. "One of a kind" That will definately help the resale value won't it?

Weakest name for a boat company ever. Meh, I'll take 2 used Nor-Techs for the price of that thing.

wonder if they sold any at all, I've only seen a red and then the green one, I take my 200k back, 150k is more fair price All the Profiles I've seen at LOTO have either delamed or is a rattle bucket, they are just so thin on the layup. man you are so RIGHT and talk about a bucket . I explained in a earlier post that i was working on a Profile and the lay up is so very $hity one layer of chop on the strakes , which makes it very hard to repair along with all the dry chop i encountered doing a very small repair , that went from small to very large ,to almost the full length of the last step and the same length on the inside of the tunnel . I got to say that if you could see the piece i pulled of with my hand , that was all dry chop with no resin at all , i think you would all go WOW .:ack2::ack2::ack2:

He has got to be kidding I just looked at the Photos in his propaganda sheet and I see NO evidence of resin transfer/Injection as claimed (that would require a foot thick steel mold to handle the pressure) or even an rudimentary homemade Infusion attempt (Flanges were covered with crap) just sloppy hand contact on what appears to be Balsa with some Red MEKP initiated ester resin system ,not epoxy in the Photo.

We had a couple of friend by new Profile's a few years ago and I could not believe all the stress cracks after 1 season on Grand. They were the 29 or 30 ft mid cabin.

It gets done right the first time (the easy way)

Or with a Grinder when it reappears back at the shop with an unhappy customer either way the right amount of material is in place in the right area at the end of the day!! Up to the builder.
