The only downside of the day?

I would certainly say that the post was ridiculous and irresponsible, but the accident was much more of a downside than the stupidity of the asinine post.

Two people went to the hospital when the boat hooked. Thankfully, hopefully my sources are accurate, one with severe contusions and one with a broken arm, was the worst severity of the accident.

But, every one of these accidents need to be reviewed by the entire performance boating community to see if any improvements to safety can be made. If we don't report on them, accurately report, boats will still keep going faster and faster but no safety recommendations or improvements will be made.

There was no broken arm, just very severe contusions to the person thrown out. First they thrown hard across the boat into the opposite side of where they were thrown out.

If accurate, the cause of the accident was a boat cutting across the pack exiting the slow zone when accelerating into the next area with no speed limit.

The kids in the boat did not get thrown out.
