1999 donzi 28zx twin 350 mags Bravo one's. It's taking water on underway at cruising speed. Can't tell where the water is entering the boat. I've had it on a hose and didn't see water coming in raised R.P.M to 2000 and still no clue where it's entering the bilge.

The water is entering the boat through the cooling system water pickups. Happy to help.

Now I have to find it too?

Ok. Buy a $19 smart phone endoscope camera from Amazon. If you don't have one, get a high candle power flashlight. Take boat to the dock. Don't use the hose connection if you have one, because it might bypass things like your Y pipe, if you have one. Put the boat in the water. Warm it all the way up so that the thermostats open. Stick flashlight and camera in the bilge, tracing the intake hose from your transom assembly to the water pump and block, up to the manifolds, and out to the transom assembly. One side will be wetter than the other at first. Pay close attention to the exhaust risers. Look for light colored calcification stains.
Confirm it is not coming in at transom. Super double check.

Because you only leak on plane with engine running: Cooling system; always suspect exhaust riser gaskets and hoses.

Because you can't see it easily: Suspect something on bottom, between some things, or aft.

If you only leaked at idle/when moored: Drive bellows, shift bellows, drain plug, hole in boat, other fitting below waterline, bravo block-off plate if through hull exhaust, transom assembly bracket, etc.

When you can tell what is leaking, take a pic with your phone and post it.

Is it possible it's something stupid?

Like a mechanical pressure speedometer hose?

My pitot tubes always leaked at the speedo. So to speak. :)

You wear Depends to take care of that problem?

Do they actually make Depends for those wearing Speedo's?

What you do is just let it hang in a bucket.

You could duct tape your phone, or any video camera you have, into the bilge and go run it.

If that was confusing, call a marine mechanic. Good luck.

Too funny.

He meant, tongue in cheek, he told you where the water was coming from. Now he also needs to find the intrusion point in the boat?:)

UPDATE: Took the boat out today and found out that whenever the STEERING WHEEL is turned left it leaks. Doesn't matter if engine is running or not, in gear or neutral. So,does this point to bellows now or is there something else?

shift cable bellows had a hole in it. The boat is at The Bravo Shop at the Lake of the Ozarks get all new bellows and drives serviced.

Thanks for all of your help!!!

I assume you had them do the rest of the bellows at the same time.

That was an interesting one.

Only when the boat is turned left does the boat leak...….

Must be a conservative boat. But I guess most leakers are lefties...….
