That's getting up there for a boat with the narrow tunnel, 10" narrower than the later model hulls, and being over 7 years old. I think the numbers on the latest light-weight boats designed specifically for the 400's are 122 MPH on the DCB 26, 125 MPH on the Eliminator 28, 116 MPH on the MTI 34, and 121 MPH on the Doug Wright 32. The first Skater 318 was 116 MPH, but it was also a heavy boat designed for rough water instead of top speed.

I think the redline on the 400 is 7000 RPM? If so, they have some more room!!

Congrats to Grant and Matt!!
