I've never seen one or heard of anyone having one in a boat or car. They look kind of cool, but seems a bit expensive for that kind of horsepower.

Falconer & Dunn built engines for Trans Am teams and offshore racers like Roger Hanks.

Ryan Falconer was an employee of Shelby's in the 60's who went on to produce engines for the Formula 5000 series, where guys like David Hobbs races for McLaren and Brian Redman for Carl Haas in Lolas. Did very well with the Chevy 5 liter (305 ci) until Cosworth introduced the DFV.

Do you know of a boat that ran the V-12's?

no; other than the Lambo's and the brief appearance of the Torque V-12 in Callan's boat,I'm not aware of an offshore 12 cyl racing engine.

I've been digging and haven't found a marinized version anywhere yet.
