We usually go to the St Clair race in July, but this year we're going to go to the Port Huron race. Any advice on good spots for viewing from shore? American or Canadian side?

If you look at my photos from the past two years, the best viewing by far is on the Canadian side. They have a small area over there for special guests, but outside of that area is a waterfront park with vendors and viewing where some of the boats come so close to the wall that people get wet. When I drove it the course was so tight on the corner we really wondered on the first lap where we were three wide. I'll try to put links here.

Thanks Paul! Beth and I were hoping we made the right choice, we decided to stay on the Canadian side for this race. The pictures look great. Thanks for sharing. I should have already seen those, but I haven't spent any time on any forums lately.

Not really any time on any forums. Unless a google search for whatever my need of the day is takes me there.

If I don't drive a boat I will probably be on the Canadian side too.

You changed your avatar and I thought it was someone else.

Sold our Formula last week so I needed to change it. I think that was the only avatar I've had here, or pretty much anywhere for that matter, until now. Feels strange without it.
