Welcome to NationalMarinaDay.org! Welcome to the Water on National Marina Day 2013, the first nationwide boating event dedicated to helping you grow your customer base as the industry collaborates to grow boating participation across North America.

With 12 years of success to its record, National Marina Day, which was launched to promote the marina industry and its role in boating, has now merged with the efforts of Discover Boating to promote the entire marine industry and the boating lifestyle in one nationwide event called, Welcome to the Water on National Marina Day to be held June 8, 2013. YOU and YOUR BUSINESS are invited to participate in this national event.

All invited to “Welcome to the Water” Boating Demo Days

May, 2013, Livonia, Mich. – Marinas around the state are offering free boating demonstrations to the public on National “Welcome to the Water” Marina Day, Saturday, June 8. In partnership with the MDNR and Association of Marine Industries, the Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA) encourages all interested in boating to visit these access sites to enjoy a boat ride and find out more about boating.

“We’re giving people an opportunity to actually get on a boat and go for a ride,” said MBIA Executive Director Nicki Polan. “We want non-boaters to experience the boating lifestyle. There are boats available to fit any budget; it’s an affordable way to spend quality time with your family and is entertaining and fun for all ages.” Free boating demos will be offered
