Roadheaver Boys Ranch would like to invite all boaters to come to Quality Inn Palatka for several days of festivities all in an effort to collect for our boys need's . When you come to the For the Boys Boat Reunion . Bring with you a NEW set of clothes shoes underwear socks belts PJ’s Shorts deodorant jeans pants T-shirt dress clothes jacket and coats wallets school bags anything that a boy would take pride in wearing and having . Many of our boys may not have a family that can provide for them so please … Bring those items with you on the Saturday boat run to
The 3 BANANAS in Crescent City
On Friday April 12 We will have a lunch run midday up to the Welaka lodge for lunch and back to the Host hotel for dinner and a live Band party This party isFREE
. On Saturday We will have a10AM captains meeting to be followed by the11:30 lunch run to The 2 BANANAS .to drop off the gifts and donations
Then Back to the Host hotel for alive auctions where bargains can be found in abundance . This will be followed by dinner an a live band party This prty also Free We are also looking for vendors who would like to show at this event the concession fee is also FREE .

Wow the rumorsare flying about the wild stuff that is going to happen at this event …. remember that some of us have to go backto work on the following monday . That full tit partying is way fun, but keep it with in limits.......... Ok What the HECK , go onwith your big party plans just as long as no boats sink and the medinsurence covers the bills ...We look forward to this full on crazieness I am hearing rumors about . My phone has beenringing off the hook . I am up for the fun but I think I might have to say NO to bring a live pig to the event and having a greesed pig chase in the parking lot .And if you do that I do not want to know about it . Every year about 20 of the boys raise a pig to be shown and sold at the county fair. The boys get to keep the money made from the sell of their pig minus the expenses of buying and raising the pig. The Ranch founder, Homer Rodeheaver, used to say, “If The Boys Will Raise the Animals, The Animals Will Raise The Boys.”

I hope that isn't the pig that ya'll are fixin to chase.

the pig is nothing I have anything to do with . and the rumor of bringing a pig to a boating event , I think is someone pulling my chain . they all know how I worry over these events .... But thankyou for your interest

Fund Razor are you coming to the event ? , It would be great to have the expert advice of a professional fund raiser as you see I make mistake along the way but I try to make up for it with enthusiasm paitence.... see I can not even spell well . . I wish that I could come but it is too far to trailer with my schedule.

Nobody listens to free fundraising advice.

I am heart broken , the pig you mentioned in your posting .all get sent to the slaughter house , that is a little rougher than being greesed up. ... also on a similar note , While at the event Try the ribs at BEFF O-Bradies . they are pretty good

the ranch director spoke to meand informed me that the afore mentioned pigs were hanging in the freezer ....also try the pulled pork at beefs

.... ok you clown s , I like fun as muchas the next guy but when you ring my phone off the hook to tell me you are bringing a pair of shaved monkeys to pole dance at the party . you push my paranoya into over drive .... I hope that if you bring a monkey , that it is clean ,there is nothing worse than a stinky monkey...

Thank goodness no pigs where hurt ... but I did hear that a wild turkey got a few hit , and I think also JackDaniels got a few hit along with Johnny Walker . Dispite thes hitting incident everyone had a great time and a pick up truck wasloaded up with new clothes and sneakers for the boys of Roadheaver ... thaks to all who came and best wishes .
