B sure 2 wear your safety cord!!! few years ago I was down on Lake St Clair & a guy was mess'n round on 1 of these, fell out, boat started go'n in big circles, fast, nearly hit my new 98 Formula 312, finally hit a small Chris Craft right at the bow dead on, bow went up on dux & outboard prop chopped the chit out of the CC!! slow'd down & another infl. finally caught it, somebody jumped in & shut it down!!! Lucky nobody got hurt!!

yes cat, that is the race boat. mine is not the race model, the only difference is the wing angle and it does not have the race floor. and it still fly's.

thats for sure tracy, been wearing life jackets also. i sure hope mrs baron likes it as much as i do. i think we will be using it as dingy when she is in it. funny we work so hard to get big offshore boats, and now i'm having as much fun in this thing.

They are a blast in big water... I bought this one a few years back for the kids thinking they would be a good
"starter" boat.. after I took it out for the first time no way in HELL would I let the kids behind the controls.

That's nice and light. I was thinking it might be something a couple of people could carry down to the Beach ( 100 yards) and have a little fun without too much hassle .

I can't imagine you two up at Hardy Party next year.......

I'll never forget once up in Spring Lake in the Marlin. We were cruising at the max speed limit, 55mph, and one of those came up alongside with two guys in it. It had a 75 on it. I bumped it up to 70, they stayed right there. They almost hit 75, just under. I was frigggin amazed when we both crossed a cruiser wake, I really thought I'd be picking them up.

This guy's mods is what you need to do next...

It's a mild mod 30hp with a custom cleaver prop

It would run better on the larger 13, this one is a 10ft model and is very sketchy at speeds.

You should be used to "sketchy at speeds". You were in a raceboat on throttles with me driving a couple times......
