They were talking about it being illegal to have your boat in your own driveway or yard....if it was visible from the street. Fences in KW cannot be more than 7' high on the sides and usually 4' in the front.

No more boats on city streets

The Key West City Commission passed an ordinance Tuesday allowing boat owners to keep their vessels in their yards or driveways on their own private property, without having to screen them as prior law required.

That means a ban on parking boats and recreational vehicles on city streets for longer than three days will be enforced starting today, according to city spokeswoman Alyson Crean.

Boats on the street left longer than three days will be subject to towing.

The boats and trailers parked in yards and driveways have to be licensed and properly registered.

The commission did not set a maximum size limit for boats; they just have to fit in the yards.

your's is a planter anyway so what is the rule on that??

It's in Marathon....I took the tree(s)out before transporting. :biggrinjester: Getting some repairs done.
