Jason wrote a nice article about Simmons Racing for Speed. I consider myself extremely lucky to have the chance to assist Jim when he needs it.


Rumors are that Carol drves the speed "Limit" when towing by the way!!!!

For those of you not familiar with the way the boats are hauled, first you load the bottom 34' Phantom. Then you have 4 backet that skip into the pockets to support the top boat. The top 30' Phantom is first craned onto the trailer, then strapped to the trailer, then the trailer with boat is craned to the top position where it fits into the five pockets of the brackets and bottom trailer. Then the entire upper trailer is strapped to the bottom trailer.

And don't forget something in the bottom boat. Because you can't get there after the top one is in place....
