Vietnam was 47,000....combat.....the same amount of military personnel died while not in combat during the same time period. (source "Stolen Valor" , one of the best books you'll ever read about the war and the B.S. and false claims that follow.)

The Vietnamese lost 3 million......must be tough around High School reunion time.
