Wow. That sucks. Im surprised that some of those boats in Monroe Harbor managed to stay moored. Im surprised that the park district didnt take some action to get the boats out of their mooring bouys and tow them inside the harbor towards the back, or dusable harbor. There had to be plenty of slips available this time of year to get them in more protected waters.

Actually saw on the news last night that a couple of the boats that sunk, were moored in the protected harbor, the floating dock broke loose!

My agent said there has been a lot of funny claims been going on since the decline in the economy. Expect rates to continue to rise to cover the doche bags that are committing fraud.

Yeah I watched from place cut loose one by one then crash into break wall with the police boat trying to grab them which in most cases didn't happen...then they all just got corraled into the south corner of South Monroe harbor slamming into each other and the sea wall.....it would have been painful to watch if they weren't sail boats!!!! LOL

In Diversey harbor, F-dock split in half right in the middle. It bent like a V, and went towards G-dock. Broke the chains underwater that hold everything in place.

Wow. Thats crazy. You know the lake has to be nasty as hell, to do that kind of damage inside the harbor like that.
