I have yet to see this thread done (unless I am blind) Would be nice to put a boat or former boat with the screen names.

Here is mine:

98 27 advantage, twin small blocks with bravos on 13" boxes. 90+, balanced perfect, and runs like a 35' in true lake MI 3-5's. All fabbed parts, motors, and rigging are done by me. Everything has been done custom throughout. All wiring and rigging is hidden under the floors. I would love to go bigger, but after 11 seasons I still love the little guy and haven't found a reason to sell.

We run out of Spring Lake/Grand Haven MI most weekends with others from the board.

1999 Active Thunder Tantrum, 502 MAG/MPI Bravo One drive with a tweaked26p 4blade Bravo one prop. Had built in early '99 bought it home in June '99 and love every bit of it. It's not the biggest boat by far but its heart is huge. Runs 50-53mph at 3700-3800 RPM has topped out at 70.4 GPS runnin' light and loose! As of the end of this season it has 425 hours and still runs strong. Looking into a slight repower next season...

Mine is a 292 FasTech, twin 6.2's (320HP), Latham steering, 280S K-Planes, SC5000, ran best of 71.5 mph gps.

Hey Twin27, I love your boat! Is it a single or double stepped hull? About what is your total weight? I am considering down the road adding set-back boxes and have found NO twin smally of a similar size to my 292 with boxes. What changes in handling and speed did you see going with 13" boxes? Thanks!:)

4mulafastech, Thanks! dry the boat is 4700. It is balsa core and vacuum bagged. They also did the deck a little lighter to save more weight. the boxes were the best thing I ever did. The boat already handled great (like a 28 saber) but the boxes made it perfect. It always flies level and drives through waves. Anyone who has ridden in it can't believe it is a 27' (27' 3" not including the mini platform) I also picked up about 8-10mph with the drives raised 3". I think there is a little more in it if I raise the X a little more. I made my boxes with neutral, +1, +2, +3. It is on +3. The boat had a pretty conservative X. I know the 38 formulas love boxes! All you can do is try them...some gain mph and some lose, so it is expensive if it does not work.

Pullmytrigger, 355's, balanced, decked, ported iron eagle heads, 6" H beam rods, 10:1, 750 mech carbs, roller cams, 36 deg timing. 6100 rpm. The motors are pretty light since they have the bare minimum.

ToMorrow44, good to see another advantage! Boat looks great! Love that motor! Don't you have a box on it?

It's a 10' Bonanza. A copy/splash of the 10' GW Invader they used at Disney with the little motors. Modified it with a 50HP merc, jack plate, small tabs, etc. Will run mid fifties. Mentalpause. is that the new 350SS.
looks nice. gas or diesel.

Gas......HOs. It runs surprisingly well. At least it surprised me. Has Axius too, which really works well.

We run out of Spring Lake/Grand Haven MI most weekends with others from the board.

here are a few pics:

Does anyone know what happened to Todd's boat? Miss talking to him. He was a fun guy to hang with.
