Maxed Out Motorsports 626

Maxed Out Motorsports Offshore Racing Team is pleased to announce their newly found relationship with Brian Hollis and David Goode of Joker Powerboats. This year Jim Jackson, team Owner, Driver & John Smith, Throttleman, Crew Chief will compete in class 6 OPA using the same engine and drive combination previously ran in the 25’ Checkmate Convincor in a brand new 26’ Joker.
Taking delivery of the new 26’ Joker in March 2011 doesn’t leave much time for rigging and testing but with help of the crew and being rigged at JAWS Marine in Curtis Bay, MD the boat and crew will be ready for the 2011 season opener.
Joker Powerboats first began producing high performance boats back in 2000. Brian Hollis was an accomplished offshore powerboat racer and was destined to build his own brand of high performance offshore powerboats. In 2005 Brian brought in a partner, David Goode. David’s background is high tech composites and he is a master in laminating, boat building and gel-coat repair. Together Joker Powerboats is unstoppable!
Thanks to Brian Hollis for his support and willingness to work with us and David Goode for building an outstanding race boat. Maxed Out Motorsports plans on being the team to compete with in class 6 racing. Many thanks to Pete and Rich Smith of Smith Brothers Racing for letting the competition crawl all over their boat to inspect what was to come from Joker Powerboats!
We look forward to an incredible season and being part of the famous Joker family!
