On Sat I lowered small boat, the 2004 23 ft Stingray 230LX, 350magMPI/Bravo1, off the lift, and went down Charlotte Harbor to one of many stretches of beach at the Northern tip of Cayo Costa island, along Boca Grande Pass. The air temp was 91, the heat index was 100, and the Gulf Water temp was 90. Round trip was about 50 miles.

Here are links to the 44 pictures I took

They are best seen in the slide show, just remember to click on full screen, in the lower right corner.

Enjoy!

Bring that bad boy "Sutphen" over here and you can enjoy the area. I have been in front of, in back of, and along side of her in many races over the years. Would love to see her again up close, she is a real runner!

What is the raptor?

And what was under the water in the couple of pics?

Raptor? I am not sure what are you referring to?

Under the water there are two oddities. First a series of perfectly square stones, with square corners, and flat surfaces, many lined up almost forming a road.

Second, a series of rock ledges, again, almost forming a road. Sometimes I refer to these as the lost road to Atlantis.

If we head over that way I'll let you know.
The Sutphen is a lot of fun to run.

If you get over this way let me know & I'll take you for a ride
