Yeah, unless you drop the coin on the nxt or #6, failures are bound to happen with big horsepower... especially on the big lake. Its all a matter of time but at least my builder gives me a 2 year warranty no questions asked...

Thats way cool. Would make me feel alot better at least knowing i have a warranty on them. BTW good meeting you last weekend!

Yeah I wanna know too.. 2 year warranty that guy is crazy lol

I would go IMCO SCX but can`t justify the cost.
Why can`t somebody design a drive with an internal clutch, or something similar ..something that is preloaded to slip at a certain tq. It would prevent the stresses on the gears when coming out of the water for example.
Or even something as simple as a coupler that would break instead of the gears.
The ideas above are now patented btw:smash:

I ordered a Teague upper, that and some lessons in driving :driving:

Yeah, the guys name is George from All American. He is a real great guy and took care of everything. I'm sure after the 2 year if I have any issues, he'll back me.

Good to meet you too Joe! Hope to chill with you guys again this summer...

If you really wanted something like that, P1 is working on a torque limiter for their boats. SVL may have them in use in the future.

Martin, or one of the SVL guys could probably fill you in. I believe Martin said around $3900 when I chatted with him.

They should just build in Torque management like all the F bodies I`ve had to delete that crap in the PCM but for boats it may work better
