Looking to pull the trigger on the new motors tomorrow or the next day. I want to make sure I have everything I need. I don't think it matters, but the new engines will be 250 Sport XS (RH and LH).

If you even know anyone I can discuss the conversion with, I would appreciate it.

email: cameronmurray at bellsouth.net. (Replace the "at" with @.)

Thanks in advance,
Cameron

I have done a couple, a 2.5 to 250xs swap and a 2.5 to 300x swap. PM me if you need specifics.

Latest hurdle is that Merc Racing doesn't mind selling me $28k worth of motors, as long as I want both my Sportmaster lowers to be standard rotation or, I can have counter rotating Fleetmasters and keep it under 85 mph. (Dont they call themselves Mercury RACING?)

Check with this company to see if they have any left over 2009 or 2010's.

The 250 pro xs was designed for the bass boat market. That's why they only offer it as a right hand. Try JT at TNT custom. He maybe able to help you

Go with the 300xs if you can afford to its always better to have more horses!

I own a set of 250's and 300xs both will provide great reliability.
