What's the difference between the two boats? What are the pros and cons of both. I'm just asking. Not in the market, just think the boats are sweet and wanted to know a little about them

Besides deck styling, prob bottom design: 4step (39) vs 1step (37), epoxy (39) vs glass (37) layup.

There were 3 37 GTX's built. The first, now "stick em up" was a 525 boat to begin with then quickly whippled. The second was national marines which was a 575 boat. Then the boat was re-powered with cobras, repo'd once or twice and now I think big chiefs and overseas. The third is the red "blood vessle". It is a stock 575 boat. If im not mistaken the 575's boats ran mid-high 90's. There were 5 39 GTX's built. There's the silver 525 boat, Buckles silver 1100 Phaff, Wiley's 725 Ilmore (originally 625's), Mikes 850 boat, and one that went over seas. The 39 GTX with 525's runs 100mph. As stated before the 37 GTX's are glass and singled stepped and the 39's Epoxy with four steps. Both boats have a half cabin in them. Both boats run very well. You just have to know how to run a 39 to get the boat to show its full potential. The 37 has the classic but still great single step hull that still runs amazing for a 1993 design. The 39 has a wider beam as well. For a sit down boat there's really not much negative about either boat. Id like to see a 39 GTX be the next addition to our boat stable!:D

Thanks for the reply. The first 37(stick'em up) now has 850s and 6s. What would that run and what does the ride compare to the 39?

Correct when Raymond bought the boat he had Double R convert the boat to 850's and 6's. I believe the boat runs close to 120. As it sits if I remember correctly the boat is propped more for acceleration and runs around 115. I hear that the boats acceleration is insane!! The 39 is going to have a more aggressive ride being a quad step epoxy boat. The 37 is no slouch and can run through some big water as proven over the past 17 years. The boats have a different feel to them being different designs and layups. It was good to meet you the past weeknd at Havastraw!

Stick Em up has run 116 best I can remember, and had a few more left in it.
It's getting some bottom work now to ease them last few out of it.
I think its available for sale

what boat would have a more comfortable ride running, say at 100 mph?
