Surprisingly, a few more options have opened up, and heading West in the next couple weeks to check out another gig.
I know where I really want to be, but need to take a few things into consideration, and buy some time - maybe.
Spent two day's shopping in the homeland, and it's a different world, but could be very good. I have some time before we need to make any decisions.
And I still need to find a gig for myself.

Dude - You're welcome anytime!
Just a few work things going on, and not sure where we're going to land, aside from the fact I'm likely to land jobless, and she's going to have a killer gig.
I'll work something out, I always have.
Maybe I'll have the time to run down with you to crash at Eric's place, but I get the Sofa, you get the love-seat - you're shorter than I am anyway...

The funny thing is, you don't know how true that is.
I used to leave my Marina and put this CD in, I'd idle out to Bawitdaba, and hit the throttle as soon as it stared rocking, and then I hit a No-Wake as soon as this song came on. It was the perfect setting.
I love Unkle Kracker too - good stuff.

I used it as one of my test songs during my larger live sound gigs.
Lots of freqs.

Tim, if you end up "out west" I know a dude who's got a couple extra seats in a 28 Pantera... Anytime bro. If you come out to look around, you'd better pick up the phone. I'm always down for some (pantera) family boating...

Rumor has it I'll be in Phoenix in 2-3 weeks for a short weekender.
You're like another long-lost brother I need to meet up with.
I'll keep you posted on the progress.

Tim, right on brother. The funny part is, when I see you, I won't recognize you because in my head you look like Julian... Let me know when you're out here and we'll try to hook up.

There is a pretty good opportunity for JJ in St. Pete. Seriously considering it.
She also has an opportunity in Phoenix. Me, well, I'll find something.

The only way I resemble Julian is the drink in the hand - if you see me without one, put one there.
I'm just a tall skinny guy with a big beak.

That was in the late '80s...
Times have changed.

I think that was you to the right with the chin-strap. Wasn't it??
When are you going to shave that thing off??

Dude! Sweet!

I was just going to ask if chin-strap guy was holding a bong?! :sifone:

Tim, I've seen the picture, but still think of Julian every time I read one of your posts. Ask Tom, at least I look like the guy in my avitar! Ha ha ha!

Dude! Looks like you are moving. Sorry I never caught up to ya after moving back to the Nati months ago. I had so much work to do around the house after being gone for two years. Hell, I rarely went on SOS. I still have your # on a sticky in my office. We need to meet up to watch a Bunguls game before you leave! Maybe Hooters on the river? Or, you are welcome to come over. I've got a pretty cool house in the country (about 45 min. drive for you). We could invite anybody local on SOS / OSO to join us. Let me know.
Anyway, best of luck in finding a good spot / job wherever you go!

The freaky part is Tim's voice. He is about as wide as a broom, but when he talks... sounds like a cross between Isaac Hayes and Gordon Lightfoot. :D
I have worked with a lot of voice-over people... and Tim is a good microphone and a cable modem away from a national VO contract.

It's going to take some time, so I'll still be here for a little while at least.
We'll hook-up.
Would love to meet up with Tony and Donzi again, and FormulaOne is still on my list, as well as FullForce (all from the local Pirate board - and here as well).

Hook me up Bro. I'm looking for a gig right now.
The pack and half a day habit to keep these pipes isn't paying for itself.
Oh, and I actually like Gordon Lightfoot - Flame away...

Funny, while we were in St. Pete, JJ and I went over to Caddy's and there was a guy playing a Strat doing classic blues/Rock tunes. He's singing Kenny Wayne Sheppard and ZZ Top with a tenor voice. Great guitar player, but his voice was all wrong for the tunes.
I almost stepped up to offer to sing for him.

Fund also.

But hey - the deal isn't done yet, so we're talking prematurely.
We'll see what comes of it.

I have to say I'm a little jealous, but it's not an easy decision, especially for us.

We've both lived here our entire lives. Leaving our family and friends would be difficult, even knowing we would make new ones.

Sounds great to me. :26: Been wanting to meet up with some of the other fine folks around here - never got to do that in Florida, although my GF and I hung out at the Ft. Myers poker run last year. My Ohio cell is 513-827-4900.

Almost forgot, don't expect too much in Florida. It's way rough down there these days. I sure as hell would not have moved back if it was good!

Oh, for Crist-sake, If I had to list everyone's name that is on my list...
There are some of you that I figure we're gonna cross paths soon anyway.
Bobcat is on that list, so is Wardey, and Hollis, Charlie McCarthy, even Stecz (if he ever leaves Jersey - because I'm not going there unless I have to.:ack2:

Mark - we'll hook up.
Not moving to FL blind. The wife has a gig if she wants it. Me, I'll just sell ice-cream sandwiches on the beach - I can let my hair grow long again, and turn into the beach bum I truly am.
That probably isn't a good idea if I intend to stay married.

I would move in with BBB (seen his joint in the Keys?!?!), get a job with Gino ("Entertainment" test driver I mean interviewer at the casino?) and vacation with all you bastages the other 49 weeks of the year!
