The recession is easing in Austin as well as all of Texas. :cool:

Austin tied for the top spot. Dallas and Houston are also in the top five. San Antonio is at #7. :D

What besides the state capitol and university of Texas drives Austin's economy ?

Used to work at Ft. Hood a lot and always enjoyed driving down to Austin.

Austin has a very diverse local economy. Dell is here, as well as several other "high tech" companies.
