I was right behind you guys at the first stop in my 29 Fountain. I'm pretty sure I was the only single engine boat doing the run that day but did my best to keep up. I'm in a few of your pics!

Here's my boat:

I unfortunately didn't do the actual run.... When I pulled out of the marina it was pouring so I headed south and drove the boat back to Jersey in the rain. :(

Weatherman was calling for two days of rain and I had to be home early for fathers day.... Once I got the boat home I drove back up by car for the awards party... bummer on that one..

Regardless, we had a great time hanging out on the dock till all hours of the morning the night before.!!

Was Shockwave the boat that became Dragon Lady and then On The Chip.

It was Dragonlady first, then Shockwave, Joe or Peter owned it for a season or two then sold it to The ON THE CHIP guys.

Good thing I "know a guy" in Red Bank. :cheers2:

Speaking of fixing the pic..... If I give the "guy" a clean pic to work form, the new vinyl will come out that much better! :toetap05:

I remember the year the Asbury Park Press, mid/late 90's maybe? They did a front-page advertisement for the Pt. Pleasant race and they used the boat as a rendering to describe all the parts/pieces on a raceboat... The picture description was highly inacurate but it was good to see racing get some press!!!

I think Curtis got it from Joe.

I'm trying to upload a video of the run...let me know if you guys can see this. It says it is not published, but I can see it.....Bajabob, should be a little time of the Hustler in there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JQj8aJQNIog

A lot of the video is from the beginning because once we got running the rain messed up the HD camcorder.

Hope you guys enjoy it!!

And yes, that is a seriousoffshore.com sticker that I had made up to match the boat!!!!

Thanks, we had her trimmed out pretty nice while dragging just a little bit of tab to keep her true. I really like this run because it is long a flat (once you are north of the GW Bridge) so it is fine for a boat like mine. You planning on doing the run this year?

BTW, my buddy used some video from his camera plus the video I got from Danny Pickering at Think Fast Films and put it all together. I'm going to try to post the one that Danny put together for me when I get a chance.
