Hello,

As most people know... I have represented 501 (c) 3 nonprofits professionally for many years. I don't want to be the last one to take advantage of the forum to hit everybody up for money. :D

But this isn't my day gig. This is an organization for which I sit on the board of directors. If you have ever met adults with developmental disablities before, you know how awesome that they are and how much they appreciate the support. They are very loving and appreciative. And you can make a difference in their lives.

That is a very worthy cause. I always keep an eye out for a special situation I find online like the Jennifur situation.

Otherwise I have a list I support every year.

American cancer society
Special Olympics
American Red Cross
Muscular Dystrophy Association
Junior Achievement
The 100 Club

and a local Veterans Post

So its not that I choose not to help, rather its that I have already chosen those that I will support.

Good luck.

Thanks Mark! My aunt was born with Downs Syndrome and my Mom was on that board, as my aunt was a resident for a while. My aunt died about 5 years ago. When Mom died recently, I went on the board.
