Not boat related....Expansion Joints - Bellows

I kinda know what they are but don't know the application. Stainless steel - 6 inches across.......What is this worth? Construction experts????

Piping systems that experience thermal expansion (steam, condensate, etc). That looks like it is a sanitary fitting.

I agree. We have similar fittings on steam coil air heaters at the powerplant.
