It may be no surprise to anyone who visited the Miami International Boat Show, but Cigarette Racing Team won the Best Display Award for 2010. The historic pictorial murals, highlighted by the full Cigarette lineup, Mercedes AMG SLS and AMG-Inspired new 46 was an eyeful! The crowds coming to see the application of the just-announced new Mercury Racing Quad Cam 4 Valve (QC4v) 1350 HP engines was non-stop and Skip Braver complimented his whole team on the honor. "A lot of people put in a lot of work to make this happen!" he said. Visit the galleries at http://cigaretteracing.com/legendary/ to see photos and more!
Says "Brownie" Alan Brown, "I've never seen anything like it!" And THAT'S saying something!

Is the show over on Sunday?

I am in Miami for continued ed and arrive Wednesday morning but I assume the old days of 10 day or 2 week shows are temporarily over.

Show ends Monday at 6 pm. It is a 5 day show and always has been as far back as I remember. The auto show usually runs 10 days.

Skip had a great display. The car and matching boat were eye catching. The banners that ran from one side of the display to the other was an awesome history of Cigarette. They were probably 25 feet tall and hung from the ceiling and served as a back drop to the display.

Agree. The huge banners were fantastic.

I've been 3 times, I thought the first one I attended started on a Friday and ended on a Monday, for a total of 10 days.

That was 10 or 11 years ago though. I also wouldn't swear to it, I am getting older.
