Nielsen estimated Monday that 106.5 million people watched Sunday's Super Bowl. The M*A*S*H finale record was 105.97 million. BUT, there were far less TV's and viewers back in 1983.

In CT. 63 % of the tv's that were on were on the superbowl...... how they figure that is interesting.

How many people sat at home and watched it because they didn't have the spare cash to go out and party somewhere this year ...?

How many changed the channel when Couric was interviewing Obama. WTF was that right before the Superbowl? Desperation.
I had to work yesterday until 6:00pm (PST), half time show was just starting on my way home.
I couldn't believe people where still coming into the store after the game started at 4:30.
I'm not even a football fan, but I had a TV set up in the lab to at least keep an eye on the game.

Don't forget that that record is broken all the time with soccer games and Formula 1 races.....
