Let me know if that works for you. We've looked at places on Duck Key a few times, but my wife is afraid a hurricane will wipe us out every couple years. I keep telling her these places are many years old, but she's chicken......

Let me talk to her, they have building codes down here. We've been coming down here 17 years and have seen a couple big hurricanes come through on their 30 year cycle. It clear sailing and prices are low right now, it's time to buy and Duck Key is nice.

We average 65-70" of snow each season. The last several years we've averaged between 100-110" of snow. Those are brutal years.

Right now we are sitting at 27.3" of snow for this winter vs 70.4 last year at this time.

Not complaining at all. I'll take the cold over the snow. But some areas that are not use to the snow are just getting blasted.

They just issued a winter storm warning for my area, 10-18 inches.

My wife thinks I'm crazy, I still get excited when it snows!:)

Here an old Ford 8N out there doing it's part..... This is rt3 in Fredericksburg, VA. Pretty good job clearing it up except there's no place to put the snow. Some intersections have huge 15' mounds piled up.

MD does good work keeping the roads clean. Delaware however, sucks keeping their roads clean.

I wish I lived in Florida.

Funny, I thought about that after I posted. Wasting a wish on a cab, F that- my wish goes to hitting the Powerball so I can follow 73 degree weather up and down the coast!

I guess we are done...until Saturday that is...

My trip to Vegas for the Super Bowl party? The clowns that made it out there last Thursday are still "stuck" there. I would be dead I think...

I told one of my buddies the problem was not getting out of Vegas but getting in to DC. He hadn't thought of that, I told him they should try to find a flight to New Orleans to keep the Super Bowl party going and I haven't heard from a few of them since...

I have all the bright ideas but am the one stuck home working. BS I tell ya, BS!!!!

My flight from Fort Lauderdale was last saturday at 1:30 and it got moved to sunday morning and then they said wednesday morning. I wanted to stay but my friends had to get back for work. So we rented a car and drove home.

I can't believe that I moved south to get away from snow and it has snowed here repeatedly since we moved, and not in NH where we left. WTF is up with that? I am so sick of snow. Two of the closest gas stations are out of gas and they didn't even get both lanes of the main road clear. We can at least get out of the driveway though. I am out of this joint tomorrow, I don't care if I only ride around and take photos!
