As I sat at the Tiki Bar last evening sipping an ice cold beer, toes wiggling in the snow white sand, looking at the sea of sailfish flags from the days catch gently blowing in the beautiful ocean breeze, seemingly dancing in tune with the sounds of the reggae band, I thought how thankful I was.
Thankfull to all of my great friends from NY, NJ, MI, and even as far away as Alaska. They emailed me, called me, PM'd me etc. all in an effort to remind me it was colder in south FL last weekend than where they were. I know this was done out of genuine concern for my well being and for that I am truly greatful. How would I ever have survived eight days of winter without the warning? Enough of the sentiment, I need to get to work....now where the hell did I put my sunblock?

We're still in the 50's down here, saw the sun yesterday for about 30 mins and almost got warm enough to take off my coat:eek:

Should be warm enough for shirtless boating during Gasparilla in a few weeks. I would invite all the snow angels to come down, but you'll likely just sit stuck in your airports. We'll film some of the festivities for you.

The cold is/was short lived down there, that's what makes it so darn funny!!!

That and all the NY/NJ - FL transplants calling me every winter for as long as I cam remember to brag how warm it is down there....
