Like the Don Johnson character in Tin Cup? :ack2:

He is building two homes here in Jupiter. His mother's house is 16K sq ft on 10 acres and his house is on Jupiter Island on 12 acres/ocean + intracoastal front. I was at the ocean house the day they tore down the existing structure. Real tight security on both job sites, name badges/ ID required to get onsite, background checks on everyone. Both homes should be done in the next 90 days or so.

The guys he has working for him are REAL SHARP when it comes to job pricing but everyone is still happy to have the work during these slow times.

Yes, he has owned that home for 10 years+........ He bought the Jupiter Island compound for 38MM two years ago and tore down every structure on the 12 acres (was 5 parcels with 5 homes). He is now built a new home on the land but will probably have 45mm into the project by the time it is done.
Celine Dion is finishing a house down the street, Greg Norman is 1/2 mile away and remodeling now that his marriage went bust, Alan Jackson is 1 1/2 miles south of Tiger and Burt Reynolds compound is on the other side of the Intracoastal waterway (9 iron away!).

He bought a Hamptons, NY compound last year for 65mm as an investment......

Wife will not get anywhere near 1/2, marriage was only 5 years. Guy didn't do multi-million dollar deals without a great attorney, this was just another deal...but it went bad. He will pay big child support for the next 16+ years though.

The most shocking part is he got caught....with that kind of coin you would think he could have avoided it. The wife exploding opened up pandora's box, and Jaimee's and Rachel's.....

The way she exploded would lead me to believe that knucklehead admitted it to her.....the enquirer/star thing could have been explained away as just gossip rags gone wild but if he admitted it to the wife then she lit up like guest on Jerry Springer....

I've seen him play in roughly in 10 or more tournaments, beginning when he was an Amateur, and he has always been very friendly, and available to fans, on days that aren't scoring rounds? He's never signed autographs or taken pictures between holes during the tournament, but that shouldn't be scrutinized.

It's easy after something like this, for the public & media to pile on a bunch of hearsay. The guy is extremely well liked, especially when his amount of scrutiny from others is impossible to measure, yet he handles it better than most.

Clay...you know better than that :D thats like saying you don't buy stocks to make money, you sell stocks to make money. For most women, marriage is an investment strategy. Before ever walking done the isle, the potential return is evaluated as well as the dividedend payment while waiting for the investment to mature. Most prenups only serve to increase the time before the woman becomes fully vested.

That same paper quoted a "stay together" package including a 7 figure check payable to Elin immediately with a new pre-nup with a much higher payout.

The worse part in this is she has become the most famous wife in the world with a cheating husband! She looks elegant and his women look like ho ho's. He made the wife look like a sucker in front of the whole world.....that must be hard to take as a person (male or female).

If Joe Nobody cheats then maybe a few dozen people know (friends, neighbors, co-workers) and the wife is pizzed but it is a much smaller scope of a problem. Tiger does it and it is headlines in every paper in the world with more women coming out of the "woodwork" daily (no pun intended). He graduated from Stanford, he should have been way smarter than this, 3 women plus a wife = recipe for disaster for sure!

Come on, seriously...No amount of humiliation is worth $300M.

I agree, but that's really not an issue for him even if he did have to pay that amount. He's not going to lose any meaningful sponsors over something so "small", in the eyes of the business world. Even if a big one decided to make the STUPID decision to drop him, 10 more are waiting in line to sign him. He'll be making tremendous money for the rest of his life.

I mean, he HAD to sign a pre-nup, and he knew it would be a sizeable amount should things go wrong. I know he has a lot of his money in that foundation, which she can't touch. He also has trusts set up to protect his interests as well. She'd get her check, and they'd go on. The child support payments would be kind of funny to see. :sifone:

I bet she stays with him in the long run. He's not a bad guy, and she knows that. Yes, he cheated on her, but compared to the list of things pro atheletes are tempted with on a daily basis, that's about as minor as it gets. Having the most attractive women alive at your disposal ANY time they want, would be a really hard thing to remain responsible around 100% of the time. http://smiliesftw.com/x/BlackNoes.gif (http://smiliesftw.com)

One thing that is not mentioned on here is THE KIDS. They will suffer the most and you can't put a price tag on that. I saw a past Masters Champion at lunch today and I asked him would Tiger's golf game slump due to maybe a mental breakdown. He said not a chance and he will only get better. We'll see.......

This will all go away. Look at Hugh Grant!!! Ten years ago he got arrested for picking up some ghetto hooker. Today every woman loves the guy. Time heals all

If the one that does the shopping in most families should decide to boycot Gillette, she'll just put the new brand of razors on her husbands American Express card.....which Tiger also endorses. :sifone:

Wives typically don't do the investing for the family, or commonly run large corporate firms, so his Accenture deal is safe. The wives typically don't buy their husband his golf clubs, shoes, balls, etc, so Nike isn't going anywhere. AT&T, American Express, Gatorade, & Tag Heuer aren't targeting a specific gender, so no loss there.

Again, this is small potato's to the corporate world, when you look at the long run.

I would question the Gatorade. A guy will drink whatever sport drink is in the fridge. :)

I really think he's done himself a big diservice. He's gotten a lot of the corporate deals based on his squeaky clean image. There are women on the boards of the corporations too.

It looks now that she's willing to stay if Tiger re-negotiates her contract. Looks like she's seeking a signing bonus and short-term guarantees if traded to another team before expiration. I wonder who her agent is?

If she didn't satisfy him in the first 5 years of marriage, WTF makes him think she will in the future especially with a bigger penalty if he strays again?

I couldn't imagine listening to her taunt him with this "girlfriend" incident everytime she gets pizzed off! No matter how hot the sex was it definitely wasn't worth the beating and grief he has endured this week! I bet he hasn't had an erection in a week!

From the Chris Farley movie "Tommy Boy", boardroom scene, now picture Mrs. Woods as the old lady:

Frank Rittenhauer: If this factory goes under, the whole town goes under.
Boardroom Woman: That's when the whores come in.
Paul: Excuse me, what was that?
Boardroom Woman: Men laying their trick-money down. Twenty dollars to pay the rent? Maybe not. Maybe instead I'll spend it on the whore
Boardroom Woman: Whores running around, doing their little behind-shake for the men folk...
Richard Hayden: I kinda like her idea.
Boardroom Man: For Christ's sake. Once during the war I visited a prostitute, and my life has been a living hell ever since.

These things aren't about being satisfied at home as much as they are about the never ending conquest and the ego strokes that you get from new playfriends that you don't get at home. It's not that the wife doesn't know how to satisfy as much as no longer feels required to explain how magically wonderful that the man is. Behind every cheating guy is not as much a women who can't perform as a woman who no longer thinks of the man without whatever resentment has accumulated through daily life.

This occured to me too. Not worth it. She WILL bring it up. Forever.
The resentment will never truly fade, and the kids will sense it. Better off with new spouses and better vibes. Shared custody can work.

This did not occur to me. Somehow... in this entire situation... I never thought about his schwanz. At all. :ack2:

I don't know if that's true. My ex wife caught me cheating, and never beat me over the head with it. She truly forgave me. We stayed together a couple more years after that. I always appreciated the fact she didn;t beat me with it anytime we got in an argument.

She happened to be a Norweigian also. Her dad's name was Thor, and he came straight off the boat. She was blonde as blonde could be. I always told her after she took a shower that she looked like she'd been nuked. Her hair was so fine, you coulod barely see it. Her eyelashes and eyebrows disappered with a shower.
