We had some aquatic neighbors escorting us for a while. Very cool. They were quite playful and curious.

Cool when you run across that. Those darn things are so hard to take pics of, aren't they?

Saw that same "burning" factory Saturday when I was driving down bayshore. My sis lives a few blocks in from there.

Yes, they're quick and difficult to snap a good pic...we got lucky this time. This guy didn't want to leave and was having the time of his life swimming around the boat.

Ya, it's winter. We have to don jackets while underway. It wasn't quite cold enough for the full winter gear. :driving:

The Winter beer coozie is as important as Cougar Boots, it keeps the really cold beer from freezing your hands..... :cheers2:

That's exactly why I have the koozie....my hands would never get warm again with the number of beer cans held during the day ;)

Would give anything to boat this time of year with a light jacket on. As far as aquatic friends.....would have to settle for sturgeon:D

Tell her we go out when it's in the 50's and the water temp is 50. She'll be so bundled up we won't be able to see her face. :sifone:

Calculate Wind Chill given Fahrenheit & Miles Per Hour
Enter Air Temperature in number of degrees Fahrenheit: 79.8
EnterWind Speed in miles per hour (MPH): 50
Fahrenheit 79.8

It took me a while to find a Fahrenheit calculator, all of the Canadian ones only went as warm as 5 Celsius ..............:grouphug:

The current NOAA mathematical model stops at +50*F...anything above that and the wind makes it warmer.

Not kidding: :)
Wind Chill (ºF) = 35.74 + 0.6215T - 35.75(V^0.16) + 0.4275T(V^0.16)
Where, T= Air Temperature (ºF) ; V= Wind Speed (mph)

Real men go boating in parkas and snowmobile helmuts :)

The day I picked up my Power Play from the dealer, we water tested it. 34*f.
Ice had been off the lake for 2 days. About 4 miles out it started snowing so hard we had to stop because we couldn't see 10 feet. Had to wait about 30 minutes for the squall to abate so we could see the way back to the marina.

The day I picked up my old 22 Indy was almost the same scenario. Snowing, 33* with some sunny breaks.

Heck, we've gone out when the lake has a crust in the early hours and melts by noon. :)

Ohhh, double dog dare LOL!!!

No lie, Linda (Little Bunny), the drunk girlfriend I had with me in KW , dared me to push her off her barstool last weekend.........so I did. I really didn't mean to push her that hard, but both hands came out and down she went, taking two stools with her. She was too drunk to get hurt and I was LMAO!!

Rob was like, why did you do that? I said she dared me. He said, Barb, you're 47 years old. I said, a dare is a dare, I don't care how old you are. :willy_nilly::)

He looked at me like I was a bully.
