Growing up there was a guy with a boat similar to that on Bayou Lacombe that did it every time a boat went by.Remember it like it was yesterday yellow boat doing wheelie circles:sifone:

My STV used to do something similar to that coming on plane. The difference was it would jump clean out with the motor tucked.

BTDT. 25 years ago I had a 16 sidewinder lo pro with a 175 v 6 merc on a set back/jack plate. It didn't take near that much trim to stand it on its transom :)

In '84 I had a 425 lb STV with a 2.4. It taught me some tough lessons and respect.

That's in Minocqua, Wisconsin at the weekly water ski show. They do it all the time. It is great to see. Usually highschool kids drivin too.

The boat drivers for the water ski show north of Eagle River WI. would go all the way around their lake like that. It was funny to watch the spotter trying to hold on the anything he could since his seat faced backwards !!!

One of our customers has an 18 Crownline with a 6 cyl MPI 220hp and that thing will stand up on the transom as well. Nothing like this though:eek:

I had an 18' Hydrostream Valero (pad-V not the tunnel-V) that would do the same. It had a Merc 2.4 Bridgeport with a 6" setback foot feed & trim in the wheel. It was a fun boat to drive. Seeing that vid makes me think I should have kept it.

That guy was just a rookie....its not how high can you go, its how long can you go high.
