View Full Version : As long as we're talking about NT how about the new 390 CC?

Yes a shameless plug but I'll start it.
It's 8:30 PM and we're trying to get the boat wrapped up to move in to the Lauderdale show in the morning.
So here's the skinny and I'll post a few previews.

Nor-Tech 390 Sport Center Console.
Designed from the ground up, the all new 390 sport arrives in time for its debut at the 2009 Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show.
Our goal was to offer the best all around center console to date. The 390 offers performance, cruising comfort and hard core fishing in a package one would expect from Nor-Tech. The first boat in the series features a 7’ cuddy cabin, forward lounge seating, a large wind protected helm station with the head in the console, integrated large hard top, triple helm seating with an aft facing seat with storage and a fold in rear bench seat. For the fisherman there are large fish boxes, transom live well, bait prep and plenty of rod holders. This one of a kind boat will surely stand alone in its class.

This boat will also display the first ever Smartcraft DTS controls by Livorsi. Performance style controls which work with any Mercury DTS engine and Livorsi Vantage View Smartcraft gauges. The 390 dash will showcase two Garmin 4212’s interfaced to the Smartcraft MercMonitor which converts Smartcraft information to NMEA2000 and J1939 information onto any compatible screen or display. It will even display Drives and Tabs.
Performance options range from twin outboards to quads. Additionally, customers can have their 390 equipped with diesel power.

Look for the next boat in the series that will offer an open bow with lounge seating and a large forward facing sun lounge ahead of the console.

What size are fuel tanks.?

Salesmanship
10-25-2009, 09:45 AM
I'm installing a silding Frigid Rigid cooler behind the helm seat which also serves as the aft facing seat. Slide it out and lock it in place and then you can sit facing forward and hold onto the grab rail.
We can finish out the large storage area with tackle boxes, bottle racks, shelves...whatever.

320 gallons standard with a single tank. Can add another 150 with two more tanks.

Well I'll be damned....... FINALLY, one of the performance boat companies actually thought past excessive logos, & paint jobs.....and realized some people might WANT to fish out of this boat?!

...my point? Unlike most of the others, Nortech actually noticed, that you CAN'T walk 360 degrees around a center console with a BIG fish on your rod, when the damn bimini mounts are permanently connected to the outsides of the boat, instead of to the driving station!! "Almost" every boat company that tries building a center console version, that can be a "serious" fishing rig, usually have completely overlooked this very important point! Try putting that rod in one hand, then the other, to move it around the pole mount while you're letting that fish run! :ack2:

The boat looks fantastic Terry! :USA:

Delete the rod holders add more cupholders. Livewell turns into a cooler.
BTW the helm seat cupholders are LED blue.
So you've got yourself a 39' 70 MPH bow rider for 20!

went for a ride with Terry on the 39CC on Saturday, and was very very impressed.
The fit and finish on this boat is second to none. Everything was done exactly right in my opinion, right down to the rub-rail(inside joke):sifone:
The attention to detail was remarkable.
The accelaration at half throttle from a dead stop was remarkable. I've been on my share of fast boats, and this boat was sooo quick, it truly caught me by suprise. There is no bow-rise to speak of, and the boat was on plane practically instantly.
Equally impressive was being on plane at 12MPH....UNREAL!!!
Terry, kudos to you!
Absolutley First Class all the way!!!!!

I agree with rockstrmkr .I was down last weekend and Terry took me and my family to Pinchers for dinner . The ride is like nothing i've ever been on, no bowrise at all and a rail like ride weather your doing 15 or 73.seeting for 16 plus, well thought out and the best fit and finish .you have to see the sliding aft facing cooler seet....way cool
wishing you and Nor-Tech continued success

It says 89 gallons on board but it's actually 150. This system requires that you add the amount on the gps when you put fuel in the boat.
We missed 60 gallons. I know this because after the run I topped it off.

Here's the plug in production for the open boat.
You can configure this in a number of ways. Forward seating, no seating for the fishing crowd, etc.
The first one is getting a large forward facing lounge ahead of the console. You can see the plug development for that in the background.
