Need a new place for my 34' Scarab on Lake Erie, Whisky Island is Fricking nuts, Damaged the boat twice, Hung out to dry (Literarily ) i HAVE PAID UP TILL APRIL 2010 Now they sent a contract renewal saying if I do not prepay for newt year they will not hold my rack.. NICE.....:confused::(:leaving:

Maybe try up in Sandusky.... Or join Lakeside and get on of those bag lifts like Kevin!!! Just some ideas..

channel park/ivancic marine.... great service gas dock sea store and mercury certified techs and social membership to old river yacht club for 150 per season and it has been completely upgraded bar and pool

Olde River is awesome and while no rack storage, anything near by will be worthwhile.

Dave, do you want to come east? HTP in Fairport Harbor by Rob and Barb's place or Grand River marine on the Grand River. Not a reccommendation, just a couple of local places.

That was a kinda non serious remark seeing the state of the marine indusrty right now

Commodore out of business due to lack of business or did they sell out to make room for waterfront condos?

Being at Commodores for close to ten years, It seems that after Brian the yard manager passed away a few years ago the place went in the toilet. Fred just lost intrest. The place went down hill fast no effort.. was and could have been a great place again. but with no grill or ships store and little or no social functions.. poof gone !!:lurk5:
