Set Your Record Straight in New Orleans - Official Kilo Runs June 26th

We’ve had a surge of inquiries about the upcoming Kilo Runs in New Orleans, and it’s clear the excitement is building, so here’s everything you need to know.

Rules, Eligible Classes & Records:

THURSDAY, JUNE 26: 1PM - 5PM

This is your chance to make history on a surveyed, certified, and sanctioned Kilo course, sanctioned by APBA and recognized by the UIM. No radar guns. No guesswork. Just world-class timing and precise average speeds calculated using the same high-accuracy equipment used for official world records.

TWO WAYS TO RUN:

1. World Record Classes – $300 Entry

Compete in APBA/UIM sanctioned classes for a chance to etch your name in the record books.

Certificates will be awarded to new world record holders.

Remember, Kilo World Records are part of the overall Hall of Champions points criteria.

2. Shootout/Open Class – $175 Entry

Run any type of boat, no class restrictions. That includes jet skis / personal watercraft.

This is your opportunity to see how fast you can really go on the exact same Kilo course used for official records. While Shootout runs (including PWC) aren’t eligible for UIM/APBA world records, all participants will receive official documentation of their speed, something worthy of showing off. It’s not a world record certificate, but it’s the next best thing.

Why This Matters:

This isn’t some random radar run where your speed depends on where someone’s holding a gun. This is the real deal, a professionally surveyed straightaway, measured to exacting APBA/UIM specs. The ONLY Kilo course set to run in 2025 where speeds are officially recognized by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) - the global authority.

No other organization can offer this. Period.

Whether you’re chasing a world record or just bragging rights, the New Orleans Kilo Runs are your proving ground.

Space is limited so register now and make it official. ENTER HERE: https://form.jotform.com/MichellePetro/new-orleans-kilo-record-run-entry

15 classes eligible, only 4 current classes have records.

I hope at one boat comes to run in every class, hopefully more to see some back and forth. That would be so sweet!
