Special Thanks regarding Straitjacket

I'd like to thank Serious Offshore and its members for their kind thoughts and condolences. Brian (Straitjacket) was sent off in a grand manner (which included bike clubs, boat clubs, natrualist clubs and old friends). I'd like to thank all the members that came to the wake and funeral procession and we're very sorry about having to wait to get into the lot for the wake. It gives us a lot of comfort to know our son of 37 years affected so many people as the numbers of people in attendance attested. A huge thanks to Mike Sommers and Dennis for all their help and support because without guys like these, I don't think this old man would have made it.

Although I had never personally met Brian, this loss seems to have touched many members here that never actually met him, as it has me.
He passed a year younger than I currently am. That's not supposed to happen.
I liked conversing with him on the board, and I'm certain he is already terribly missed by many of his close friends.
From everything I'm reading about him, and my limited interaction with him, I'm sorry I never had the chance to meet him personally.
Sounds like he was a friend every guy would want to have.
I'm very sorry that I'll never have that opportunity.

Brian Sr. in 37 years Brian Jr. touched more people than most would at 80, you did an outstanding job to raise a son to be that way. Many of those people will continue to be in your life, I hope that will help in the days to come.

I have tried to explain the dynamics of our group to people many times.

How close you can become to someone in a short period of time. The right someone.

And Im sorry, but unless you actually meet, get to know, and become friends with a Brian Miller,,,,,,,, you just wont get it !!!!!
