yes, a very shallow v, probably 2 or 3 inches in the center of the tunnel.

the 388 and 40 ss are very different size wise; beam, tunnel, sponson, length etc...

Has the old 40 Preadator sold yet?

No, not yet. It is sitting inside a climate controlled warehouse, fully rigged minus engines and drives. It has the shallow V in the tunnel as Sean said.

We were only a couple mph off the Classic 40 top speed with the new Predator.......40ss, this spring we are breaking that fo sho!!!:willy_nilly:

You are right when the first few 40's came out they did not have a notch on the back of the sponson's and we were putting the notich in the hull on the floor and then Pete decided to just put an insert in that area in the mold and still does today .
