When we cruised the Great Lakes back in the 70s on my dads 48 foot sailboat Round Lake was my favorite destination. The water was always warm and so clear to swim in. The giant Carp were pretty cool to swim with also.
Another cool place there was the hotel with the rock facia that overlooked the channel to Lake Michigan. The indoor outdoor pool was a kids dream in the winter.Anybody know if the hotel is still there ?
