That is the one that Chris from OP had for sale isn't it???? Beautiful piece!!!! How did it run gentlemen????

Yes it is Sean. Boat seemed like it ran fantastic. Charlie would be better suited to answer that since he was in it! I was running around in Sutphen race boats all weekend!:D

There isn't anything wrong with Sutphen raceboats especially ones with custom bolts machined specifically for particular applications!!! :sifone::sifone::sifone::sifone::sifone:

Charlie what kind of speeds did you see with the staggered set-up and what was the difference in acceleration between a triple and the staggered application????

We ran out of Fairhaven towards Cuttyhunk across Buzzards Bay....now for those who know the area up here....364 days of the year, the water is great Apache water...but on Saturday, it wasn't.

But we still ran up front with a 46 Skater with turbines and a couple of other Skaters....all looking for a turn boat that wasn't there.....Now that brought back some real racing memories. We were all running in the low hundreds for MPH.

The difference between twin Sterlings and triple Keith Eickert's on the other 47 I throttled wasn't very noticeable...Yellow boat below.

This twin is a very strong boat and even with the semi flat water, ran anywhere it wanted to with just about anyone out there. I'm sure the turbine boat had a much bigger top end but if we had the Apache back there on Sunday....(they had to go home Saturday night).....Sunday had 6 footers down by Cuttyhunk, it would have been a beautiful sight for all to see.
