Thanks for a great time, Billy! I am so glad I was able to come this year and see so many old friends. While I was honored and privileged to be inducted into the NPBA Hall of Fame, the real honor and real privilege is to call so many of these fine people my friends! I can't wait to do it again!

Hi Billy, It was wonderful seeing you, and so many old friends Friday night. You and the NPBA are keeping the sport we all love alive. It is amazing to see a tent full of extraordinary boat racers; these guys become fearless when they step into the cockpit of a race boat. The NPBA now produces poker runs, but I have to guess that out of all the poker runs held in the country, none bring the racers out like the New York City run. The food was great, endless selection, and plenty of it, and the company was stellar, my brother Michael and I are honored to be included in the NPBA hall of fame.

Billy....sorry we had to miss it this year. As usual it sounds like you did another great job again.

So I'm putting together a short video of the run just for fun. Will post it here and probably youtube (and Facebook of course). One of my crew members/passengers had a HD video recorder but because of the rain very little of it is usable...so if anyone has any clips of the run (particularly the start) that I can insert in the video to make it a little longer please let me know. Let me know the boat you were on (make/model/owner) and I will make sure we know where the onboard shots are coming from.

That would great! I'm not on any timeline. I have to pick up some video this weekend, then we'll start on it next week some time. I'll just be working on this nights after work when I have the time so no rush on your part.
