Key West local feedback.......

Apparently the locals (civilians) feel the same way all of you do about this years race.
My husband attended an event today that included a number of hotel general managers and restaurant owners.
They went out of their way to speak to him and tell him what a great week it was and not only the race was successful, but the spectators and teams were the best in a long time.
So to the teams.....and the spectators still in their sandals and t-shirts, a big thank you.
It makes us look good when you have a good time representing the OFFSHORE event that comes to town. Fantasy Fest USED TO BE THE BIG DEAL OF THE YEAR......no more.
This kind of feedback is going to help SBI make it even better next year.

All the locals I spoke with love race week!
The only grumblings I heard were the fishhing boat captains complaining about all the "cigar" boats racing around and blocking up the docks.
